Located in Edmonton, Alberta Smibs Inc. is a web-based software company devoted to help businesses ‘Grow Smart’. Our website provides businesses with practical lessons from a diverse group of entrepreneurs. We supplement this with our web-based software, which enables businesses to establish extensive and effective contact networks. Our goal is to offer practical tools that simplify your business day saving you time and resources.

Peter Urban

Peter is an entrepreneur with over 18 years of local and international experience of helping develop several small and medium sized businesses from the ground up. He is the founder and president of Smibs Inc. and the Plainpeak Group and has acted as a consultant for several Fortune 500 companies. Peter is also an adventure enthusiast who loves motor racing, hiking and heli-skiing.



Christy Urban

Christy has spent the last decade in the corporate and non-profit sector in management, sales and marketing. Also to her credit is 8 years as an entrepreneur in various start-ups. She is the managing director of both Smibs Inc. and the Plainpeak group. Christy has been an ambitious competitor in equestrian sports for nearly 20 years and is now starting fly-ball and agility training with her two dogs.



Forrest Zeisler

Forrest is a graduate of the University of Alberta’s software engineering program. He is also the co-founder of Smibs and lead developer of the suite of web-based software. Forrest is also very active as an alumnus in his fraternity Zeta Psi, Mu Theta Chapter.



Chris Proulx

Chris is currently attending the University of Alberta’s software engineering program. He is a developer who has worked on the Smibs’ suite of web-based software. Chris is also the social chair for the Zeta Psi, Mu Theta Chapter.



Alvin Schur

Alvin is a graduate of the University of Calgary’s Computer Science degree. He is a developer who works tireless on creating the innovative web-based software found at Smibs.com. Alvin is a classically trained dancer who definitely puts many Smibs Inc. employees to shame on the dance floor.
